Trainer Bio

Hello my name is Laurie Carmichael and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I love working with premarital couples. I love the joy and laughter that is often present in the room. In addition to celebrating, though, I also enjoy facilitating hard conversations with them - sometimes conversations they never have had before or were afraid to bring up. I have been using Prepare/Enrich since 2017 and have always found success in my couples learning more about themselves each other and areas of growth that the assessment makes space for. I have been a trainer since 2019 and launched my private practice in 2021. I graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary where I was also taught Restoration Therapy by Dr. Terry Hargrave.
